Grooming
Upon signing and returning the Client record you accept that you agree to the terms and conditions for using my service. All your data is protected under the Data Protection Act 1998.

In order to achieve the best results from your chosen service please inform me of any changes in your pet’s health or temperament. Whilst in our care your dogs health and welfare is my primary concern. If I feel your pet is anxious of any of the equipment during grooming, I will do my best try alternative methods. If I uncover any pre-existing health conditions during the service, l notify you so that you can seek veterinary advice. In the event of any accident or if your pet takes ill whilst with me you will authorise me to seek emergency vet treatment. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Sallys Dogs R Us.

I do not perform either anal gland expression or ear plucking as during my City and Guilds training this was classed as a medical procedure and should be carried out by a vet.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your dogs groom please let us know before you leave, we will be happy to discuss alterations and concerns with you.

All of my prices reflect the starting from price this is based on the dog being well maintained in between professional grooms. You may expect to pay more if your pet has a matted or has an over grown coat, if the pet is difficult to manage during the service or if your pet is timid or anxious and will need extra breaks and may need special handling.

I may use before and after photos of our animal clients for my Facebook page and my website. Please advise me if you do not wish for your pet to be photographed.
I have provided an estimated time for each of the services I offer which can vary depending upon the breed of the dog. I will advise you of an approximate time for collection and I will contact you with a more accurate time during the groom.

I reserve the right to refuse carry out a service if I feel that your dog presents a risk of harm to me or themselves. Please inform me prior to starting the service if your dog has ever bitten or displayed aggression. This is a stipulation under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

I reserve the right to refuse to clip off severely matted or neglected coats and will advise you to make an appointment with your vet to have the coat removed and skin treated prior to rebooking with me.

COVID guidance I follow:
I book appointments with clients to ensure that you only deal with one customer at a time.
Wash your hands for 20 seconds using soap and water or use hand sanitiser before going to collect or receive the pet.
Determine a way to receive the pet in a way which maintains a two metre distance and if possible hand over the pet in an outside secure area. If this is not possible, and handover occurs in the premises, face masks should be worn by both parties at the point of transfer.
Use different equipment to the owner’s if possible

Daycare
The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client’s absence. (ie. Food, medication, collars, etc.).

Sallys Dogs R Us must be alerted to any behavioural problems with the pet at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or cancellation of any future contact.

I hold business Public Liability Insurance but I request pets should be insured by the client and I refuse the right to refuse a booking for any dog which is not insured.

I will care for your dog as you would, and whilst I will make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence. Sallys Dog R Us cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet or a third party, either inside or outside of the home whilst in my care.
